Description
On the hill above Rabac is the medieval town of Labin, whose old name Albona was first mentioned in 285 AD. The hometown of Matija Vlačić, the reformer and associate of Martin Luther, is today a cultural and administrative center. It's rare where the wealth of architecture and cultural-historical monuments is combined so charmingly with numerous art studios. A city of Renaissance and Baroque on the east coast of Istria, Labin is a city that unites seventeen settlements and is only 3 km from the sea and the tourist-developed town of Rabac.
Not far from the town of Labin, there is a stone house of 35 m2. The stone house is under renovation.
